Inclement weather precluded hand picking. Fermented in used and new French oak. A fine meld of tension and mid-weighted generosity. Canned peach, dried mango, kumquat and nougat. Typical of the riot of fruit exhibited by the Hunter’s better examples, strung across a bow of pungent mineral and stylish oak.

Chardonnay at Mount Eyre Vineyards
Mount Eyre Vineyards chardonnay for all of our ranges is grown our Three Ponds Vineyard at Broke. There are three blocks, planted in 1974, 1992 and 1996. The sandy loam soils have excellent drainage whilst still permitting excellent ripening and flavour development.
