Three Ponds Neptune 2026

Why Neptune?

From the outset, vignerons Eve Tsironis and Aniello Iannuzzi wanted to maintain the Hunter Valley traditions whilst also being open to innovation. When tasting the tank samples of semillon after the year 2000 harvest, they sensed an opportunity to make a fresh, delicious Hunter Valley sparkling. A perfect accompaniment to seafood, they settled on the name Neptune, the Roman god of the sea! The rest, as they say, is history, with Neptune remaining one of the most popular wines in the Mount Eyre Vineyards range. Since 2005, Neptune has been a semillon-chardonnay blend, rather than 100% semillon.
