Winemaker Andrew Spinaze
Pale Yellow in colour with a fine fresh nose of citrus blossom and cut grass. The palate is other worldly; fine intense mineral with citrus rind vie for attention. The palate is complex, layered and length is long and persistent. This is a multi-dimensional Semillon and among the best I have seen in such a young Semillon. This gives serious competition to the best Semillons in the Hunter. This wine has a very long life ahead of it.
