Medium dark cherry red in colour with Black plum fruit underlaid with spicy licorice notes. The palate displays medium acidity with beautifully structured ripe tannins adding structure and poise. Dark black chocolate/cherry notes are also a feature as are the finely textured powdery tannins. The wine displays substantial length and complexity. This is a truly great wine with wonderful ageing potential over the next 5-10 years.

Deep-ish red with a good tint of purple and aromas of brandied cherries, Eastern spices and pot-pourri, the palate medium bodued and smooth-textured, with fine and supple tannins that supply a pleasing dry finish and an even flow. Fine balance and elegance. Very attractive drinking already but could also surprise in the cellar. The tannins are discreet but impart all-important texture and length.Â
