Bright hue; an elegant medium-bodied wine with red and black cherry fruit to the fore, having absorbed the substantial amount of new and old oak in its elevage, fine, savoury tannins providing structure.

What's in a label?!

Wine labels are the face of a wine to consumers, most of whom never get the opportunity to visit the vineyards. Just like the vines themselves, labels need to be curated, maintained and kept at a high quality. The Mount Eyre Vineyards logo and early label series were designed by artist Lydia Kullik. Since 2018, Mount Eyre Vineyards' labels have been created by Josephine Liddle of John Jewell Design.
