The name Three Ponds originates from our son Theodore Iannuzzi, who at age three referred to the three dams on our Broke vineyard as ponds.
Theodore was obviously inspired by the ducks, lilies, reeds and dragonflies that he observed at the time. Thanks to Theodore, we named the Broke vineyard and our main range of wines Three Ponds.
All the table wines display distinct varietal character as well as a strong sense of region and terroir. The whites are fruit driven and fresh in their youth, however have excellent natural acidity to permit careful cellaring. The reds are medium- to full-bodied, with marvellous cellaring potential.
Our Neptune sparkling wine is unashamedly Hunter Valley, blending its most famous two white varietals, semillon and chardonnay.
